The joint projects of the Berlin-based artists Renata Stih and Frieder Schnock revolve around memory and are to be understood as social sculptures. They adapt their artistic means to the task and surroundings involved, talks and discussions forming an integral part of their work. Schnock is also active as an art historian and a curator; Stih gives seminars on the relationship between art and technology and on the history of film and TV.
